Kimberley Bret "Kim" Greist (born May 12, 1958) is an American actress.
==Early acting career==

Greist was born in Stamford, Connecticut, the daughter of Norma M. (née Abtey) and Edwards Harold Greist, Jr.〔(Kim Greist Biography (1958-) )〕〔http://www.mainegenealogy.net/individual_marriage_record.asp?id=445568〕 She was trained for the stage and spent some of her late teenage years as a professional model in Europe.
She then returned to the United States at age 20 and launched her acting career in the off-Broadway comedy "Second Prize: Two Months in Leningrad";〔(Actress Kim Greist page at Off Broadway Database (lortel.org) )〕 her later stage credits included appearances in the New York Shakespeare Festival.
